MPR softball didn’t exactly win on Tuesday. Technically, we lost 25-1. But who’s keeping score? Oh wait. We are.

Anyway! Highlights included the debut of Linda Fantin as pitcher! She proceeded to have a ball lined off her knee. Ouch! Later, rookie Hans Buetow pulled a quad muscle in the outfield – but we were so short-staffed, both players still had to stay in the game! Hans finished as pitcher – well done, Hans!

Our only run came on a home run from New Tom Scheck. The last 10 MPR batters were retired in order. Ouch!

After the game, storms moved through the Twin Cities. Coincidence?
