This man, whose name is Gus, is awesome:

Gus, it turns out, knows how to hit a softball.  He hit two of them Tuesday in a way that resulted in TWO GRAND SLAMS for MPR, helping the team to an 11-10 win.

In other news from the game, there were some injuries – like Suzanne’s…

… and there were some great catches, like Allison’s and Jim’s here (before and after the catch)…

… and it was nice to see Captain Jill, sans cast, even if she was chewed out by a little kid for smoking…

In the end, Fred snagged a line drive that started the game-ending double play to allow MPR to head to Chalk Talk victorious!
