June 1: Pure ART-istry. Fiftysomething Arthur Hoehn defies the laws of nature
by pitching the team’s first no-hit, no-run game, coming within one error of aperfect game. Oldest of the Old, Hoehn also captains the Farts to a
first-ever series sweep and pitches the men’s team to its first .500 league
season (7-8 overall.) Co-rec team rebounds from a slow start to win an
impressive number of games (18-10) but comes up short in the Goodwill (3-2)
and League (5-2) tournaments. Chalk Talks/Banquet: DeGidio’s. Team
Question: “Is there any mustard today?” Team Inspiration: The Bevy of
Beauties.
